Expanding Airbnb’s Business through the Relaunch of Experiences

WHAT
Airbnb was relaunching Experiences — its largest product launch to date — and needed hosts worldwide to actually know what a great experience looked like and hold themselves to quality standards. I was brought in to design the learning strategy that would make that happen.

HOW
I built a global host education program from the ground up: quality standards, a learning framework, and a full onboarding series for 20,000 new and existing hosts across markets. The framework — Enable, Immerse, Inspire — met hosts at every stage of their journey with the right modality at the right moment. I also helped build the team that would help guide this work into the future.

IMPACT
Over 20,000 hosts onboarded. A global education system that scaled without losing what made Experiences worth scaling: authenticity, safety, and real human connection.
